All The Bright Places (Book Review)

Author: Jennifer Niven
Publisher: Knopf Publishing Group
First Published: January 6th, 2015

Synopsis: Theodore Finch is fascinated by death, and he constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself. But each time, something good, no matter how small, stops him.

Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister’s recent death.
When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school, it’s unclear who saves whom. And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.

Opinion (without spoilers): This book is heart-breaking. It's the first book that made me cry. Seriously. I loved how the 2 characters narrate you the story, each of them with a different perspective of life.
I really have no words to express this book. Incredible? Sad? Words aren't even enough to describe this amazing book.
I liked the way Jennifer Niven narrated the point of view of Finch, a teenager with depression. I don't know if she's had depression, but I can say that she wrote it in a way that you can truly see the ups and downs of having depression. I loved it.
Legitimately I can't write right now. I might need a 2nd read in a few months to, hopefully, truly understand how I'm feeling.

Final verdict:

That was it for this review :) I hope you liked it and if you've read this book, let me know in the comments if you agree with me or what did you think about it :D See you (hopefully) soon!
